The La Porte Bulldogs fell to the Deer Park Deer 42-14. The Deer got out to a quick lead by scoring on the opening possession. La Porte was able to answer quickly behind Keenan Lawrence's 94-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. The Deer went on to close out the half leading 28-7. The La Porte Bulldogs looked better in the second half, scoring another touchdown in the 4th quarter and only allowing 14 points in the second half.  The Bulldogs look to get back on track on September 2nd when they play Elsik at Crump Stadium.
