Both Lomax 8th grade teams defeated Fairmont on Wednesday. 8B won by a score of 13-0. Kyler Brown got the scoring started from the defensive side of the ball with a pick 6. Later, Emanuel Olvera connected on a 40 yard TD pass to Luis De La Fuente. Octavio Galvan was the defensive player of the game with 12 tackles, and Brantley Roades also forced a fumble.
 
The 8A Lobos won 28-8. Offensive player of the game goes to Charlie Gale who scored 2 touchdowns, 1 on the ground and 1 through the air from QB, Madden Shipwash. Shipwash also rushed for a TD and connected on a TD pass to Kasai Richard. Defensively, the front 7 lead the way with multiple sacks and tackles for loss by Landyn Rojano, Brooks Stout and Khayton Davis. The secondary came up big with 3 INTs, 2 from Connor Ponton and 1 from Mikko Meittunen. Davis also had a forced fumble.
