The Boys water polo team opened District play last night beating a hard fight game against North Shore High School 13-9 and improved their record to 2-1 (1-0) on the season. Senior Aidan Parrish received the Player of the Game Award for scoring 10 of the 13 goals for La Porte. This is the second time this season he was named this honor. Senior Ben Tercero had 2 goals and Senior Camden Kelley had one goal. Several other plays had 4 or more assists. Junior Riley Koonce had 5 blocks on 14 shots.

The next game will be the rivalry game against Deer Park High School on Wednesday, August 6th at Deer Park South Campus. Come out and support the girls and boys as they go hunting at 5:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M.
