Water Polo was back in action on Friday Night. It was a night full of excitement as this night was our Senior Night. 4 seniors were recognized for their commitment and dedication to LPHS Water Polo. Thank you, Jackson Thralls, Coby Chauvette, Zachary Carroll, and Riley Koonce.
 
Senior Night was a success! LPHS Bulldogs fought their way to a very close win by the score of 11-10. The game went down to the final seconds. The game started with a goal by LPHS Senior Coby Chauvette to go up 1-0, but the Panthers of Caney Creek tied the game 2 minutes later. Caney Creek would score again to go up 1-2. 30 seconds later Sophomore Jaime Reyes found an assist to Senior Zachary Carroll for the tie to make the score 2-2 to end the first quarter. Senior Goalie, Riley Koonce recorded 4 saves. The second quarter started fast with a goal just 40 seconds in from Jaime Reyes to take the lead at 3-2. Caney Creek scored on two straight goals to tie and regain the lead at 3-4. Sophomore Ean Lopez scored to tie the game at 4-4. Caney Creek finished the quarter scoring with a 1:05 left to take the lead again going into halftime at 4-5
 
LPHS Bulldogs came out of halftime scoring two goals from Zachary Carroll and Jaime Reyes to tie and regain the lead once again 6-5. For the next two minutes it was just defense from both teams. Jaime Reyes got a steal and Senior Jackson Thralls recorded a block. Then Caney Creek answered again with a goal of their own to tie the game at 6. With 24 seconds left in the 3^rd quarter the LPHS Bulldogs took the lead again at 7-6 on another goal by Zachary Carroll! Here comes the last 7 minutes of the game. It was not until 5:42 seconds left into the 4^th quarter when Caney Creek scored another game tying goal to make the game 7-7. Coby Chauvette broke the tie with a goal, and Zachary Carroll extended the Bulldog lead to 9-7. With 2:00 left in the game Caney Creek closed the gap with a score to make the game 9-8 and :30 later tied the game again at 9-9. Zachary Carroll scored his 4^th goal of the night to take the lead again 10-9. Caney Creek just won't go away and tied the game once again at 10-10. With :40 seconds left in the game, Coby Chauvette score the winning goal for the Bulldogs to make the score 11-10. All the Bulldogs in the quarter helped play a roll in the final seconds. Ean Lopez handed out 2 assists, Jackson Thralls got a steal and a block. Riley Koonce recorded 4 saves in the last two quarters.
