Last night LPHS Boys Water Polo 3-2 (0-2) were in action against Deer Park. The Deer started the game off just like the Deer Park girls game….fast. Deer jumped out to a 1-0 lead until Senior
Jackson Thralls scored for the Bulldogs first to tie the game at 1-1. Then it was all Deer Park until the second quarter when Senior
Zachary Carroll scored his first goal to make the score 2-9. Zachary also added 1 assist to his playing time. It wasn't until late third quarter when Freshman
Lucas Prigmore score his first high school district goal for a 3-17 score. Lucas also had 1 assist and in the fourth quarter Senior
Coby Chauvette scored for the Bulldogs to end the game with a final of 4-22. Coby finished the game with 4 blocks, 2 assists, and 1 steal to go with his 1 goal. Senior
Riley Koonce (2023 Goalie of the Year) had a hard time stopping Deer Park, but was still able to get 12 blocks. Sophomore
Jaime Reyes, and Freshman
Cole Bailey both had one steal apiece.
