Bulldogs opened the season with a 75–57 road victory over a tough, scrappy Crosby team. The Bulldogs were paced by Gotti Mack, who dominated with 18 points and 10 rebounds.
Freshman Kevin Goodie made an impressive debut, adding 15 points, while senior sharpshooter Fletcher Neely caught fire early, knocking down four 3's in the first half.
Off the bench, Adyn Patterson and Menson Riggs provided a huge spark with strong, energetic performances that helped extend the Bulldogs' lead.
Next up, the Bulldogs hit the road again for a major test against the #1 team in the state — Beaumont United.
