La Porte High School Swim Team had there first swim meet of the year last night against all five high schools from Pasadena ISD. (Pasadena Memorial, South Houston, Dobie, Sam Rayburn, and Pasadena).
The Girls 200 yard Medley Relay started off with a 1^st and 2^nd place finishes. The Boys 200 yard Medley Relay followed the Girls' footsteps and did the same thing by grabbing 1^st and 2^nd place finished.

In the Girls 200 yard Freestyle, Junior Claire Underwood came in 5^th and Boys 200 yard Freestyle event, Jake Gazaw came in 3^rd. Amelie Mastan was the only Bulldog swimmer in the Girls 200 yard Individual Medley. She took 2^nd place. There were several Girls and Boys in the 50 yard Freestyle event. For the Girls, Natalie Chavez, Lillian Woolard, Adilyn Smith, Daisy Sanchez, Isabella Huerta, Mika Morales, Gabriella Kirk, Kayla Juarez, and Alexandra Pilkerton took 2^nd through 10^th place. The Boys 50 yard Freestyle event, Riley Koonce took second and Jaime Reyes, Cole Bailey, Lucas Prigmore, and Ean Lopez took 4^th through 7^th places. La Porte Girls came in 2^nd, 3^rd with Adilyn Smith and Isabella Huerta. Girls also came in 5^th, 6^th, 8^th, and 10^th in the 100 yard Freestyle In the Boys 100 yard Freestyle Boys took 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd in the 100 yard Freestyle with Riley Koonce, Coby Chauvette, and Jaime Reyes. They also took 5^th, 8^th, and 10^th.

La Porte Girls took 1^st and 2^nd in the 500 yard Freestyle with Amelie Mastan and Claire Underwood. For the Boys 500 yard Freestyle La Porte had one swimmer and Jake Gazaw took 1^st in the event. Both of the Girls and Boys 200 Freestyle relays took 1^st place. In the Girls 100 yard Backstroke, Gabriella Kirk and Natalie Chavez took 1^st and 2^nd place finishes. Ean Lopez was the only swimmer for La Porte in the 100 yard Backstroke and took 2^nd. Lillian Woolard finished 3^rd in the 100 yard Breaststroke while Coby Chauvette finished 2^nd in the Boys 100 yard Breaststroke. In the last event of the night, the Bulldogs finished 1^st in the Girls and Boys 400 yard Freestyle Relay.
