LaPorte Boys Water Polo Team have officially earned the title BI-DISTRICT CHAMPIONS! Bulldogs played the District 9 Champion, MacArthur High School. LaPorte finished fourth in District 10
 
LaPorte came out scoring the first two goals of the game by Seniors Zachary Carroll and Jackson Thralls. With 2:43 left in the quarter, Sophomore Jake Gazaw also scored for the Bulldogs. This was his first goal of three. MacArthur answered back with one goal of their own finishing the quarter with LaPorte leading 3-1. Senior Coby Chauvette added 2 steals and an assist. Freshman Letterman Lucas Prigmore recorded an assist. Senior Goalie Riley Koonce had 4 saves and 1 assist. The second quarter was a bit slower for both teams. La Porte scored once from Coby Chauvette to make the score 4-1. The assist came from Goalie Riley Koonce. Riley also had 3 more saves With 2:32 seconds left until Halftime, MacArthur scored to cut LaPorte's lead to half at 4-2 going into Halftime. Senior Jackson Thralls and Sophomore Ean Lopez each had a steal.
 
Third Quarter starts with a goal from McArthur to make the score 4-3. From here on out it was all LaPorte. Bulldogs scored twice from Jake Gazaw and Coby Chauvette. Jackson added another steal to his name and Jake Gazaw also had a steal in the quarter. Lucas Prigmore got the assist on Coby's goal. Riley Koonce had 2 more saves. Third quarter ended with a Bulldog lead 6-3. The Bulldogs are on the verge of winning their first playoff game in school history. With 3:06 left to play in the fourth quarter, Jake Gazaw had the only goal for either team to secure the win for LaPorte with a score of 7-3. Riley Koonce had another 3 saves to give him 12 for the game.
