Water Polo was back in action on Friday Night. It was a night full of excitement as this night was our senior night. 8 seniors were recognized for their commitment and dedication to LPHS Water Polo. Thank you, Gabriella Kirk, Lillian Woolard, Kayla Juarez, Daisy Sanchez. Caney Creek got off to a fast start going 2-0 in the first 30 seconds of the game. Freshman Natalie Chavez scored for the Bulldogs first to make the score 1-2. Then Senior Gabriella Kirk tied the game at 2-2 with her goal 2 minutes later. Then the Caney Creek went on a roll scoring 2 more goals with in 1 minute to make the score 4-2. Junior Alexandra Pilkerton scored with 46 seconds left for the Bulldogs to end the first quarter with the scored of 4-3 Caney Creek. Senior Goalie had 3 saves in the quarter. In the 2^nd quarter, The Bulldogs went on a tear and scored five times while Caney Creek only had one goal. Sophomore Adilyn Smith and Alexandra Pilkerton had one goal, while Gabriella Kirk and Natalie Chavez had two goals apiece to lead Caney Creek 8-6 going into halftime. There were also 5 saves from Lillian Woolard.
 
At the start of the third quarter the Bulldogs pushed the gas pedal even more, scoring 4 more times from Sophomore Adilyn Smith and Natalie Chavez. Gabriella Kirk had two more goals making the score 12-7 Bulldogs. Caney Creek score once in the quarter. Lillian record 4 more saves. The final quarter for the LPHS Seniors started with Gabriella Kirk scoring to make the score 13-7 Adilyn Smith followed up with her own goal giving the Bulldogs a 14-7 lead. Caney Creek started to come back, scoring twice in 30 seconds, but it was not enough to win the game. Bulldogs win 14-9!
