Lady Dawgs participated in the program's inaugural tournament at Benjamin Davis High School over the weekend. The event featured five teams: Davis, Eisenhower, Nimitz, Caney Creek, and La Porte. The Dawgs competed in three games over two days.
In their opening match, it was a closely contested game that was decided in the final seconds, with Davis narrowly defeating La Porte 9-8. Sophomore 
Natalie Chavez contributed four assists that led to goals by Freshman 
Addilynn Morara, Junior 
Adilyn Smith, Senior 
Alexandra Pilkerton, and Senior 
Isabella Huerta. 
Adilyn Smith also set a new single-game record with four steals. Goalkeeper Kimberly "KK" Manzo recorded six saves during the game.
In the second game of the day, the Lady Dawgs dominated Eisenhower with a 17-5 victory. 
Adilyn Smith led the team with four assists. Freshman 
Skylir Taylor achieved a career-high five goals, with additional goals scored by 
Addilynn Morara, 
Alexandra Pilkerton, each with two goals, and Freshman 
Nellie Ortiz, who scored once. 
Natalie Chavez was instrumental offensively, posting three assists, five goals, and three steals. In the field, Kimberly "KK" Manzo and 
Nellie Ortiz each registered one block, while 
Isabella Huerta contributed two blocks.
The final game of the Aldine ISD Tournament saw the Lady Dawgs secure a 13-6 win over Caney Creek. The team took an early lead in the first quarter with a 2-1 score, thanks to goals from 
Natalie Chavez and 
Skylir Taylor. In the second quarter, the Dawgs scored three more goals, two by 
Natalie Chavez and one by 
Skylir Taylor, with 
Natalie Chavez providing three assists during this period. In the second half, 
Alexandra Pilkerton and 
Natalie Chavez combined for seven goals, with Chavez assisting on three of these. 
Skylir Taylor added one more goal. Goalkeeper 
Kimberly Manzo was exceptional, making eleven saves throughout the game.
